Sausalito often enjoys crisp, clear and sunlit days. Ocean breezes pick up near evening and thus it is always advisable to dress in layers. A foggy day in San Francisco or at The Golden Gate can frequently give way to sunshine upon entering Sausalito.
The warmest months are May, June, September and October though virtually every month has a healthy percentage of partially to completely clear days.
